The Homosassa station is located at 28° 46.34' N and 82° 42.43' W on the top of USCG channel marker #26 at the entrance to the Homosassa river, Citrus County, Florida.

Reel 'Em In Fishing offers a variety of packages for a safe and fun fishing experience in Citrus County Florida. Add a shore lunch and come back for scallop season in July.
Homosassa Fishing- Let Captain Todd take you on a charted fishing excursion through the beautiful waterways surrounding Homosassa Florida. Every second of every day, at least 100 cubic feet of water flow from an underground source into the 45 ft. deep Homosassa Spring, amounting to more than 64 million gallons of water per day. The spring outflow creates Homosassa River, a 9-mile waterway to the Gulf of Mexico through some of the most breathtaking scenery in the world.

Homosassa is said to mean “place where peppers grow” in a long-ago Native American language, and was a seasonal gathering place for nomadic tribes for many centuries. The first known commercial utilization of the area began in 1846 when David Yulee established a 5,000-acre sugar cane plantation and built a mill and processing plant to produce sugar for customers throughout the Southern states. Civil War hostilities led to the burning of the Yulee plantation, but remains of the mill still stand in a little park along State Route 490. In those earliest days of European habitation, food and supplies had to come by boat from Cedar Key, 60 miles to the north.

Our Packages:
"Reel 'Em In" offers a variety of packages from our 22-foot Sundance skiff. Our boat is powered by a mercury 115 optimax and has a bow mount trolling motor for stealth approach that can accommodate up to four customers. Our boat "Reel 'Em In" will run in water as shallow as five inches. Captain Todd Corneillie is an experienced captain and fisherman in the coastal areas of Citrus County including Homosassa, Chassahowitzka, Ozello, and Crystal River. He won First Place in the 2006 Cobia "Big Fish" Tournament with a 47.86 pound cobia! "Reel Em In Fishing Charters" is fully insured and licensed by the USCG.

Add a shore lunch for only $50 per group. We cook up the fish you caught and add baked beans, coleslaw, and hushpuppies. A great ending to your fun day of fishing in the Homosassa area!
